Dr.Sudha Turaga – Academic Director – DPGOS and PGOS schools
Exemplary leaders help one do their best work, but most importantly, they help one become a better person. Such an exemplary visionary is Dr. Sudha Turaga who envisions a unique schooling for all students across both the group of Pallavi Model, International, and the Delhi Public schools. She donned the mantle of such leadership and embarked on this journey sharing her invaluable experience.
She is a Postgraduate in three disciplines and has a Doctorate in “Leadership Effectiveness in Secondary Schools of Delhi”. She is accredited as a global teacher. At an International level, Dr.Sudha holds a Diploma from Cambridge University for teacher training, and received a certificate from Harvard University in “Differentiated instruction in the English language”.
Dr. Sudha was honored with the National Education Excellence Award in the year 1999 and the Best Teacher Talent Award in the year 1982.
She is an associate of the All India Education Research Association and All India Teacher Association.
Dr.Sudha mentored the Principals of DIETS, SCERT, Principals, and teachers of Colleges and Schools of DAV. She authored and published a trainer manual for DAV coordinating resource centers and several teaching-learning training manuals that supported the upskilling of the Principals and teachers.
She was associated with the research for Child centered multi-level approach to quality education (CHAMAQUE) with NCERT and actively delved into the development of Science textbooks at the Primary Level at NCERT. She was a part of several paper presentations at the National and International seminars and colloquiums.
Dr. Sudha was rendered financial assistance by the MHRE for her brainchild Project to develop a value-based curriculum for teachers. She is a volunteer counselor for the CBSE and Manodarpan (MHRE). She pioneered the collaborative project of empowering women with Andhra Mahila Sabha (an autonomous body) and facilitated budding teachers and teachers who wanted to upskill in getting certification in Early childhood care and education for better employable opportunities.
